We always suggest that prospective residents spend a day to see if the home is suited to their needs. Each resident has a person-centred care plan tailored to their personal needs. Our approach to care is guided by two major principles: firstly, that each resident retains their right to privacy, dignity, choice, independence, and fulfilment; and secondly, that care is provided by staff with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitude.
We offer trusted home care services in a warm and welcoming environment that respects each resident’s individuality, dignity, and privacy. Our fully trained staff provide round-the-clock support, continuously adapting to meet changing care needs.
We encourage all our residents, their families, and friends to be involved in reviewing their care needs, so that our residents receive the care they need. The care plans are regularly updated.

Dining
Our head chef and her team cook nutritious and varied meals daily. Specialist diets and needs are catered for. She enjoys producing well-balanced, homemade, and tasty meals. The residents are offered a choice of menus, and the chef offers various other options if the residents prefer something else.
Meals can be eaten in our beautiful and well-furnished dining room or in the privacy of their own room.
Daily breakfast includes everything from cereals to eggs and sausages.
Laundry
We provide a laundry service to all our residents (but not dry cleaning, although this can be arranged on their behalf).
We ask all our residents to label their clothes for easy recognition.
Entertainment
We offer person-centred activities based on what each person enjoys. We provide one-to-one and group activities that are meaningful and enjoyable.
We take a person- and family-centred approach and encourage families to stay involved.
We aim to be aware of the experience of each person we care for and ensure that they feel safe to be themselves. Coming to Glengariff should enhance your quality of life and allow you to remain active.
