Glengariff Residential Home
Glengariff is a purpose-built residential home, modern and comfortable, set in over an acre of beautiful landscaped gardens, within walking distance of the town centre, local theatre, and the seafront of Clacton-on-Sea.
Once a prestigious seaside hotel, it has been completely refurbished to provide maximum quality, luxury, and comfort.
All bedrooms are single en-suite and spacious, with a TV point and the option for telephone access.
The Ground Floor Lounge is the main TV lounge, while the First Floor Lounge is the “Quiet Lounge,” where residents can relax or read.
The Second Floor Lounge has a collection of books, allowing residents to immerse themselves in reading.
The Ground Floor also has a “Willow Room,” which opens into our beautiful gardens. Daily activities are also held in this room.
Rooms
We encourage our residents to personalise their rooms to their own taste, using pictures, decorations, or even their own furniture.
All rooms are spacious, single, and en-suite.
Hair Salon
Our regular hairdresser visits Glengariff three times a week to attend to our residents’ needs.
The hair salon is located on the Ground Floor.
Resident's Food Committee
Our Residents’ Food Committee meets on a regular basis to discuss their preferences, likes and dislikes, and shape future menus.
All residents can join and attend these meetings. The kitchen chef and either the home manager or her deputy also attend.
There are also suggestions to decide on the “theme evenings.”
